De nuevo los incidentes con turistas en México vuelven a ser noticia y tendencia en las redes sociales. Y es que desde hace ya un tiempo son cientos los viajeros que han denunciado malos tratos e irregularidades en su paso o intento de ingresar en sus vacaciones al país Azteca.
Esta vez el encargado de hacer la denuncia que se ha viralizado en redes sociales, fue un ciudadano canadiense quien relató a través de videos cómo fue que un taxista quiso robarlo y secuestrarlo en su paso por México.
Taxista quiso robar y secuestrar a un canadiense en el aeropuerto de Cancún, México
Los hechos ocurrieron en el aeropuerto de Cancún, México. Lo que comenzó como un simple traslado entre terminales se convirtió en una pesadilla de tarifas exorbitantes que terminaron en un intento de robo y secuestro.
El joven canadiense, que se identifica como Xavier Cormier en redes sociales, relató en una serie de videos la pesadilla que vivió en el aeropuerto de Cancún en la llegada al que sería su destino vacacional por algunos días. Pero que terminó convirtiéndose en un destino de amargos recuerdos.
Según contó a través de TikTok, tras su llegada a la Terminal 4, fue abordado por representantes de una compañía de taxis que lo presionaron para tomar un servicio. Diciéndole que no podía permanecer en el lugar donde se encontraba por lo que debía trasladarse .
Sin opción y ante la falta de alternativas, el viajero aceptó tomar el taxi que estaba disponible en ese momento. Pero lo que parecía un simple traslado entre terminales se convirtió en el comienzo de la pesadilla cuando el joven descubrió el monto cobrado en su tarjeta de crédito.

After paying with my card and getting back in the Taxi for only 2 minute I Realized the payment that went on my card was over 1000$ . I was still in the car and the situation escalated at the Terminal 4 where I managed to get the attention of the touriste and traveler waiting for they flights. When the taxi saw the security he tried to escape with me and my luggage in the car but I manage to jump in the front of the car and shift the transmission on Park which almost result in a car accident. The airport security arrived just in time before situation got even more crazy. I filled a report number against the driver and the taxi airport , I believe some of the cops and security agent over there where also in the scam because they wanted me to go the police station to press charge against the driver but to only get rid of my story and all the proof I have against the scam system at the airport including Security and the Airport Taxi Company. I believe if I would stop the car in time something even worst was waiting for me. Are these scammers still working at the Cancun Airport?! Taxista cobró más de $1.000 dólares a canadiense por un traslado dentro del aeropuerto de Cancún
Al percatarse del valor descontado de su tarjeta de crédito por la carrera del taxista el cobro era de más de $1.000 dólares, una cifra exorbitante para un corto trayecto dentro del aeropuerto.
De inmediato el viajero canadiense confrontó al taxista y comenzó a gritar pidiendo ayuda.
«¡No puedo creer que esto sea tan horrible! “Llama a la Policía, mil dólares, es un robo, tu país es realmente malo. No puedo seguir siendo estafado», dijo el canadiense completamente indignado.
Mientras ocurría el enfrentamiento con el taxista, el joven canadiense sacó su celular para registrar toda la situación. Que terminó en un video que se volvió viral en TikTok, donde se puede ver el momento exacto en el que el joven confronta al taxista mientras los oficiales de seguridad se aproximaban al lugar.
Lo peor llegó minutos después cuando todo escaló hasta un intento de secuestro ya que el taxista intentó escapar del lugar con el pasajero y su equipaje a bordo. Por fortuna, la seguridad del aeropuerto llegó a tiempo para controlar la situación.

La historia de este viajero canadiense no pasó desapercibida y se volvió viral en redes sociales. Además alertó a otros viajeros de los cobros excesivos en el aeropuerto e invitó a no viajar a México.
“¿Estos estafadores siguen trabajando en el Aeropuerto de Cancún? Si es así, ¡ayuda a detener este sistema corrupto y NO VIAJES A MÉXICO!”, dijo el extranjero.
Su historia se suma a la de cientos de viajeros que han denunciado en los últimos meses e incluso años, irregularidades en los aeropuertos de México.
